Chicago might be the Windy City, but Rao's Homemade is bursting onto the Magnificent Mile with a flavorful experience. Building on the success of its The Saucery pop-up, the brand will be opening the doors to another special event June 9-11. Excited to get a taste of its newest sauce joining the brand's robust line-up?

Rao's Homemade has built its reputation on authentic sauces. By highlighting quality ingredients and focusing on simplicity, there is a nod to the tradition that puts flavor first. From sauces to soups and pasta to pizza, the brand understands that great food stems from great ingredients.

Previously, the brand opened The Saucery to much fanfare. This year, the event is heading to Chicago to give guests a taste of the Italian authenticity. And, the event is the perfect time to showcase its newest sauce, Caramelized Onion Sauce.

This new sauce brings a hint of sweet, nuttiness with a depth of flavor. While onions might be one of the building blocks of many recipes, the caramelization adds another layer. Although subtle, it adds nuance to some favorite recipes.

As part of The Saucery event, Kristin Cavallari is sharing her recipe for a Baked Penne, which uses the new Caramelized Onion Sauce. She said, "I grew up enjoying home cooked Italian food and am big on feeding myself and my family wholesome, authentic foods that are delicious, so Rao's Homemade is the perfect fit. I can't wait for guests to try my dish, Baked Penne, using the brand-new Rao's Homemade Caramelized Onion Sauce, which has a deep, slightly sweet flavor that is so versatile to cook with."

In addition to this new sauce, Rao's Homemade is launching several other new products at The Saucery. Those items are Vodka Arrabbiata, one new pizza sauce, Pizza Arrabbiata, and two new soups, Italian-Style Lentil and Butternut Squash, as well as the Caramelized Onion Sauce. The offerings will be available for purchase at the event and will be sold in stores and online starting this summer.

For guests who are able to visit The Saucery, it is the perfect time to be inspired by the flavorful simplicity of Rao's Homemade products. Even if grandma's gravy might be iconic, these sauces and other food items are rooted in tradition, too. Ready to open a jar and get cooking?
