New Owala Werewolf colordrop

With so many reusable water bottle brands releasing new colorways and collaborations — looking at you Stanley x Calia — it feels like there's an option available in every color under the sun. There are even bottles designed to celebrate specific seasons and holidays, like the tumblers in Simple Modern's fall- and Halloween-inspired Harvest Collection. And now, Owala is bringing us a bottle that has us howling — literally — with excitement. The brand's newest FreeSip is called the Werewolf and to steal the brand's own phrasing, it's sure to slay your thirst.

The new Werewolf bottle is available now, but you should act fast. These limited-release drops usually sell out within hours.

The bottle features a combination of five different colors — if you're not familiar with Owala's famous FreeSips, they're known for their interesting multi-color designs — plus a fun glow-in-the-dark element. Just like real werewolves, this bottle's transformation happens at night, but unlike real werewolves, you don't have to wait until the next full moon to see it change. Instead, every day when the sun sets and darkness falls, the mini moon symbol on the side of the bottle (along with the Owala label itself) starts to glow in the dark.

The bottle's werewolf inspiration is clear enough, but not so over-the-top that you would feel weird using it outside of spooky season.

We've gotten our hands — and lips — on just about every water bottle known to man — from Stanley to Nalgene to Simple Modern to Yeti — so we have pretty strong opinions on hydration vessels. My go-to for use at home and in my own car is the 40 oz. Simple Modern Trek Tumbler, but when I'm traveling by train, bus, or plane, or most recently, at a music festival, I always reach for my Owala FreeSip thanks to its covered straw and smaller size (the difference in weight between 32 and 40 ounces might surprise you).

If this werewolf-inspired bottle has you under its spell, make sure to purchase before it sells out. You may even want to buy multiple to share with your wolf pack.
